Advanced Sexuality Studies Course – ASSC
The Advanced Sexuality Studies Course was developed with the support of a Curriculum Working Group (CWG), under supervision of Gary Dowsett, IASSCS member and Professor at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia; and is currently being implemented by IASSCS.
In response to a growing recognition of the need for advanced training in Critical Sexuality Studies in developing countries, the training focuses on the shifting relationships of power, knowledge, context, and culture from a multifaceted field, crossing several social science and humanities disciplines.
The delivery of the course aims to facilitate the incorporation of the course or its modules by participants’ local universities and research institutes.
